About me professionally 

Greetings, and it is a pleasure to connect with you virtually. Thank you for your interest in learning more details about my personal and professional background, or "what makes me tick"...... This website serves as an extension of my resume, illustrating my recent professional projects, successes, and responsibilities with authentic photos and hands-on experiences and projects. I have intentionally developed a career that aligns with my love of the outdoors in unique environments. My work and choices are about passion and a love of what I do.

In my self-assessment, I characterize myself as a diligent professional who leads by example and employs a pragmatic approach to challenges. I am driven to succeed while maintaining a sense of humor and appreciation for life's true essence. I take pride in building tangible outcomes, teams, nurturing healthy relationships, and operational efficiency. My core competencies include:

• Recruiting, developing and retaining talent using genuine interpersonal interactions and a growth mindset for employees.

• Expertise in technical areas such as software and IT infrastructure, power grids and utilities and building/property maintenance.

• A diverse career in running operations ranging from board meetings to building, to large staffs and multiple revenue centers.

• Continuous analysis and communication for improvement of processes, operations, costs/efficiencies and bottom line revenue.

• I 've held the positions of  Operations & General Manager, COO/CFO and CEO/Founder across various sectors, including hospitality, adventure, mechanical, utility infrastructure development, and logistics.

• QHSE and risk evaluation and mitigation including ERP and contingency plans.

• Formally and informally building organizations culture from mission/vision and value formulation to daily cultural immersion.....also known as "talking the talk and walking the walk".

I maintain a steady, positive, emotional demeanor, practicing servant leadership and striving for mutually beneficial outcomes rooted in respect. I adhere to a "clean", healthy lifestyle, consciously avoiding habits that could compromise my judgment and mental/physical performance.

I have purposefully focused on  properties and projects situated in breathtaking natural settings. I consistently deliver results in resource-constrained environments by being resourceful, preparing contingency plans, and empowering my team to succeed. While I often work autonomously with minimal direction, I value teamwork and recognize the importance of effective communication to achieving positive outcomes. I'm a believer in "Inspect what you expect" and providing good, concise feedback and communication.

Throughout my career, I have a proven track record of reducing unnecessary costs, enhancing productivity and services, and increasing revenue. On personal level, I am passionate about the outdoors, an avid fisherman, and a culinary enthusiast. I engage in off-roading, mechanics, mountain biking, hiking, gardening, and have a keen interest in amateur geology and paleontology.
